Larchmere Porchfest returned for the 16th year offering an afternoon and evening of music spread throughout the district, mostly on people’s porches on its residential side streets. People strolled the area on foot or rode bikes or even took to rollerblades to catch the artists they wanted to hear out of the nearly three dozen wildly diverse acts that performed. The crowd was as diverse as people of all types mingled on the streets, unfolded their canvas chairs on sidewalks, danced on lawns and listened from adjacent porches.

But sometimes mistakes can be much larger problems than just having a baby that will one day grow up to be a radio personality with purple hair. A mistake that happened at the Cuyahoga County Jail is proof of that.

PFF analyst ranks the Browns’ defensive line in the Top 5 of the NFL
The 2023 Cleveland Browns defensive line was one of the more disruptive units in the NFL last year. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz found a way to maximize the skillset and talent of the players along his defensive line. In total, last year, the Browns had 365 quarterback pressures, led by Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett and veteran Za’Darius Smith. Sam Monson of PFF released a list ranking the defensive line groups, with the Browns finding themselves number five overall ahead of the 2024 season. The only issue I have with this list is that I’m not positive there are four defensive lines that are better from top to bottom than the Browns. The team added even more pass rush upside, bringing in Michael Hall Jr. and veteran Quinton Jefferson while bringing back Shelby Harris and Za’Darius Smith. It is hard to find holes in the Browns’ defensive line, from top to bottom, both pass rush-wise and run defense-wise. Ultimately, this group will be one of the best again in the NFL, and PFF agrees with that statement.

Sony Classical to Release 'Louis Lane Conducts the Cleveland Orchestra – The Complete Epic and Columbia Album Collection'
He went on to head major orchestras in Dallas and Atlanta and to guest conduct leading ensembles all over the world. But before that, Louis Lane honed his craft while working in the shadow of one of the great masters: in 1947, legendary maestro George Szell chose the young, inexperienced Texan to assist him in Cleveland – “I think you will do” was the gruff maestro’s verdict, exceptional praise indeed from that notorious perfectionist.
