A new restaurant has opened in North Royalton, Ohio

NORTH ROYALTON, OH - A new restaurant has come to the city.

Are you in the mood for Italian fare? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to check out the new restaurant Via Roma, which is located in North Royalton at 8922 Ridge Rd (where Carrie Cerino's used to be). According to the restaurant's social media account, Via Roma officially opened its doors to the public on August 29.

The menu includes appetizers like arancini, fig toast, crispy fried Brussels sprouts, calamari, stuffed peppers, and more. Also on the menu are pasta dishes like rigatoni with traditional Bolognese sauce, wagyu ravioli, spicy vodka gnocchi, seven layer lasagna, and more. Furthermore, customers can get dishes like herb-crusted lamb rack, bone-in pork chops (which are served with sauteed green beans, spiced apple chutney, and brandy infused sweet potatoes), cast iron seared scallops, branzino (which is presented whole with pesto risotto cakes, heirloom carrots, puttanesca, and charred scallion), chicken parmesan, and more.

Excellent! So happy to have a restaurant like this that serves real Italian! Homemade pastas were outstanding. Drinks were great and service was some of the best that we ever had. Happened to be driving by and popped in , so glad we did. It was only there first couple of days open. We will be back!

Our waitress Natalie was kind and accommodating. We had the stuffed peppers for an appetizer as well as the calamari. Both were delicious but be prepared when they say hot peppers, they aren't kidding! These are not for the faint of heart and if you don't like spicy, you probably want to steer clear of this appetizer. I'm sure all of them are very delicious because even though I don't like spicy, the flavor of those stuffed peppers was amazing! The portion sizes are large and we were very well fed. I had the Eggplant Parmesan which was delicious. My husband had the Lasagna and that was equally delicious! The desserts were incredible. The chocolate cake is Rich and decadent and the accompanying ice cream is one of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend you go here.
