Statewide Alert For Missing Minnesota Teenager
Pine City, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide missing person alert for a 15-year-old girl. The alert says Destiny Rae Matrious was reported missing to the Pine County Sheriff's Office on June 16. Her family reported the teenager had unknowingly left their home in Pine City overnight and never returned.
9 indicted in multi-state drug operation that includes Minnesota
FARGO, N.D. — Nine people have been indicted in North Dakota for their alleged involvement in a multi-state drug operation run from a federal prison cell. Prosecutors say beginning in January 2022, the distribution network moved significant quantities of methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl from Mexico into North Dakota, Minnesota, California, Colorado, Georgia, Missouri, Texas, Arizona and elsewhere. The operation was allegedly run by 26-year-old Jesus Amurahaby Celestin-Ortega, also known as Flaco, using a contraband cell phone while he was incarcerated in federal prison on unrelated drug and firearm charges.

Minnesota Man Killed in SCUBA Mishap During Salvage Operation
Crane Lake, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in far northern Minnesota are reporting a fatal SCUBA diving accident. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says deputies and other emergency responders were sent to Crane Lake on the edge of Voyageurs National Park around 12:15 PM on Sunday. They were told that a SCUBA diver had failed to resurface.

MN State Patrol searches for driver involved in fatal crash
EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota State Patrol is searching for one of the drivers involved in a fatal collision on Saturday afternoon in Eagan. Troopers said the driver of a Lincoln MKX ran a red light at the intersection of Highway 55 and Lexington Avenue, hitting the passenger’s side of a Volkswagen Jetta. Two passengers in the Jetta were killed; however, troopers say the driver of the Jetta fled the scene before law enforcement arrived and has not been located.
Multi-vehicle crashes injured four Sunday in SE Minnesota
KIMT-TV 3 NEWS – Several multi-vehicle accidents Sunday in southeast Minnesota injured a total of four people. The first happened around 3:59 pm on Interstate 35 in Rice County. The Minnesota State Patrol says a pickup pulling a camper, two SUVs, and a car were all southbound in a two-lane construction zone near mile marker 55 when they crashed.
