The State of Texas continues to expand the "Border Wall" along the Rio Grande - as illegal crossings along the border with Mexico go down - something that's almost unheard of during Spring when illegal crossings usually surge. (You can read about the reasons for that HERE).

The "hot spot" for illegal immigration in Texas is the Border Patrol's El Paso Sector - and there is plenty of activity to report from there.

First, Univision reports that a mob of 300 migrants overran barbed wire barriers installed by the state in El Paso last weekend to surrender to Border Patrol Agents:

That's the second time reporters have documented that happening there in the past three weeks.

Meanwhile, El Paso TV Station KFOX reports another 100 migrants cut through another barbed wire barrier to enter the state last weekend as well.

NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley reports groups of migrants are constantly walking along the Border Wall in the El Paso Sector looking for opportunities to surrender to Border Patrol Agents on the other side:

Also over the weekend, El Paso Sector Border Patrol Agents raided a "stash house" that contained 39 migrants.

Agents also recovered a handgun inside the home which was packed with migrants awaiting transportation elsewhere.

In the Rio Grande Valley, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Officers arrested a 17 year old human smuggling guide who had been apprehended more than 95 times for the same offense (as well as smuggling monkeys and drugs into Texas). He faces state felony charges for this latest arrest:
