    JMS hosts meet Brian Smith Wed, 03/20/2024 - 7:09 am Jacksboro Middle School hosted its annual meet Monday, March 4 at Tiger Stadium. Results are as follow: Boys Humberto Amador won the 100-meter dash in 12.10 and the 200-meter dash in 24.65. Teammate Darian Green was 5th in both the 100-meters in 12.54 and 200-meters in 25.90. Carlos Salas de la Fuente was 5th in the 2,400-meters in 9:36.12. Padun Seaberry was 6th in the 300-meters with a time of 49.37. The 1,600-meter relay foursome was 5th in 4:12.74. On the field, Green won the triple jump with a 37’11” effort, two feet longer than 2nd place. He was tied for 4th in the high jump with a 5’ leap. Seaberry was tied for 1st in the pole vault with a 9’6” leap 4th in the long jump after a 16’5” effort. In the discus, Brody Roberts was 4th with a 103’1” throw. Girls Emory Inman won the 100-meter dash in 13.66 and the 200-meters in 28.32. Teammate Addy Mathis was 4th in the 200-meter dash with a 29.21 time and also the 400-meters with a 1:08.26 run. Nadilin Delgado was 6th in the 1,600- meters in 6:30.78. Charlie Baldi was 6th in the 2,400 meters in 10:50.69. The 1,600-meter relay team finished 4th in 4:47.57 while the 800-meter relay quartet finished 6th in 2:04.35. On the field, Inman was 2nd in the long jump with a 13’11” effort, just one inch out of first. Laine Sams was 3rd in the triple jump with a 29’ leap. Presleigh Phillips was 5th in the event with a 28’4”. Laney Cornish was tied for 6th after a 6’ pole vault. Starr Wesson was 3rd in the discus after a 76’1” throw. Serenity McEnterff was 5th in the shot put with a 30’10” throw.
