After just two months of their public campaign, the foundation is thrilled to announce the successful completion of “Mission Critical.” With over 1,200 generous donations from the community, they have raised the necessary funds to bring a year-round rescue helicopter to Teton County, Wyoming. This achievement marks a significant advancement in the county’s emergency response capabilities, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents and visitors.

Fatal Star Valley crash injures Jackson residents
A serious head-on collision occurred Saturday between Etna and Alpine. SVI News reports that there was one fatality and several injuries. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP), the incident took place around 9:30 pm. A white pickup truck traveling from Alpine to Etna entered the opposite northbound lane. A Ford Expedition heading northbound towards Jackson attempted to avoid the oncoming vehicle by veering left. The pickup’s driver suddenly swerved back into the correct lane, resulting in a head-on collision.

Missing Alpine girls found safe
After being reported missing since February, two girls from Alpine, 8-year-old Tamzen Walsh and 12-year-old Lilyana Walsh, have been found safe in Georgia. The girls were with their mother, Stephanie, and were reported missing by their father after Stephanie left with the children and no contact had been made for months.
