Man stabbed repeatedly in critical condition while trying to break up argument
JACKSON, MI – A Jackson man is in critical condition after being repeatedly stabbed during a fight Monday night. Police were called Monday, July 1, to a home in the 300 block of Moorman Drive for a report of a stabbing that had just occurred, Jackson Director of Police and Fire Services Elmer Hitt said.
New Jackson College Jets Air Station Opening July 8
(July 1, 2024 5:55 PM ET) Jackson College today announced the new Jets Air Station will open to college and community members on July 8. After months of anticipation, the finishing touches have been made, and the Jets Air Station is ready to welcome guests. The hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays & Sundays (hours may change based on usage). This brand-new inflatable air dome provides more space for college athletics, student and community workouts, and public events. Inside, the Air Station features a rubberized floor with four basketball courts, four volleyball courts, six pickleball courts, and two tennis courts. A marked walking track surrounds the perimeter of the athletic courts. The starting setup includes one tennis court, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a pickleball court, which may change based on usage.

The 2024 Academic All-District Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
