TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — The Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra will perform orchestral masterpieces by Haydn and Mahler on Friday and Saturday evening at Walk Festival Hall. It’s a night in Vienna, without the waltzes. Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) Music Director, Sir Donald Runnicles, conducts legendary works by two of history’s greatest symphonists. Austrian masters Haydn and Mahler are featured on a program that will highlight the range and virtuosity of the Festival Orchestra and remind concertgoers that no film can capture the drama of live performance. The program includes Haydn’s Symphony No. 88 and Mahler’s epic Symphony No. 5.
