My buddy, Mike McFadyen, has a ranch in Camas County. He had clear skies yesterday but woke up this morning to some serious haze. Smokey skies aren’t unusual; in Idaho and the western states. It’s not unusual to see big fires drift smoke from west to east across the continent, but Mike lives more than 140 miles due south of Stanley, the epicenter of the Wapiti Fire. Bridger Norton of Thunder Basin to Further Track Career at UW
Thunder Basin track and field athlete Bridger Norton will take his abilities to the college level for the University of Wyoming. At the 2024 4A State Outdoor Track Championships, Norton took 2nd in the 200 meters in 21.15 which broke the 4A class record. He was also a member of Thunder Basin's 4A State Champion 4x400 relay team that also broke the class record in 3.19.02.
