Jacksonville Jaguars' Joshua Hines-Allen gives one last take on who's the better Josh Allen

The Jacksonville Jaguars recently had one of their best players make a huge change. Josh Allen, one of the best pass rushers in the league, recently changed his name to Joshua Hines-Allen to carry on some of his family legacy.

Not because he was tired of a debate about two players in the league.

For the last few years, there has been a debate among Jacksonville Jaguars fans and Buffalo Bills fans. The debate has been about who has the better Josh Allen - the quarterback who has constantly lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs - or the defensive end who is getting better and better every year and just got a lucrative deal.

The discussion isn't fair because one is a quarterback, the most important position in all of sports, and the other plays a more expendable position. But it's okay because you really can't have that debate anymore.

So, most people would choose the quarterback, but the Jaguars obviously would rather have one of the best pass rushers in the franchise's history in Hines Allen.

Recently, because it's the offseason and because of the change he made, Hines-Allen was on the Rich Eisen Show, and he talked a bit about the name change, including the former debate about who's the better Josh Allen. Eisen said that people believe he changed his name because he was tired of being compared to the quarterback.

Allen fired back perfectly.

"I mean I'm 2-0," Hines-Allen said of his record against the Buffalo Bills.

In all seriousness, Hines-Allen did it because of a much bigger purpose. And, he's not shy of letting anyone know where he stood amongst the Josh Allens in the world.
