The Jaguars revealed throwback uniforms for their 2024, 30th anniversary season last week, offering fans a nostalgic look the team last sported over a decade ago.

Now, it’s time for something new.

The Jaguars debuted a “Shell White” alternate helmet Thursday morning before its second day of training camp, featuring the team’s current logo, a matte white finish and a black facemask.

The helmet will make its first on-field appearance when Jacksonville faces Minnesota at home in Week 10.

The Jaguars will pair the white helmet with their current alternate black jerseys, as modeled by safety Daniel Thomas below.

The throwback uniforms Jacksonville revealed last Thursday include its original black helmet with a Jaguar-head logo worn from 1995-2012, teal jerseys with an alternate running Jaguar logo embroidered on the sleeves, and white pants with a teal, gold and black colorway stripe on the outseam.

Jacksonville will induct Tom Coughlin, the team’s first head coach (1995-2002) and more recently its executive vice president of football operations (2017-19), into the Pride of the Jaguars during its first game in throwback uniforms, against Indianapolis on Oct. 6.

“Everywhere I go and from every comment I read – it’s apparent our fans are longing to see Jaguars’ players in throwback uniforms,” Jaguars President Mark Lamping said in a July 18 release.

“That persistence paid off and our uniforms reminiscent of the team’s early years are back by popular demand, just in time for the 30th season and, in particular, the Pride of the Jaguars induction of our inaugural head coach, Tom Coughlin.”
