Registration open for the 2024-25 school year in Janesville

JANESVILLE — The School District of Janesville has opened registration for the 2024-25 school year.

Registration is by appointment only from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 am. to 12 p.m. on Fridays. Appointments can be made by calling (608) 743-5011 or emailing sdj-nseo@janesville.k12.wi.us.

The school district asks families to register their children as soon as possible and preferably before Monday, Aug. 5, but students can be registered up until the school year starts.

Those who are enrolling kindergarten-aged children for the first time and cannot do so during the enrollment period are encouraged to make an appointment as possible to enroll. Families will need their child’s birth certificate for proof of age, proof of residency with a utility bill or lease to determine school assignment, immunization records and photo identification.
