Burlington North Avenue assault ends in arrest
BURLINGTON, Vt. — At approximately 11:01 a.m., the Burlington Police Department responded to a reported assault on North Avenue. Police say they determined that 37-year-old Robert Warner had struck the victim several times in the head. The victim was evaluated and transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Vt. insurance company to argue for rate increase
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Health care costs could be on the rise again for some Vermonters. On Thursday, Blue Cross Blue Shield will argue for a 4% rate increase. In May, WCAX News reported that Blue Cross asked the Green Mountain Care Board to raise their rates by 16% for individual plans and 19% for small groups.
