Two Hospitalized After Collision Leaves Vehicle Dangling From Retaining Wall
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 19800blk of Century Blvd. near Town Commons Dr in Germantown for the report of a collision. According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, a driver drove over the curb/guardrail and was suspended off an elevated retaining wall, approximately 8 feet high. Two patients were transported with non-life threatening injuries.

Mimi’s Handmade Ice Cream is Coming to Clarksburg
Mimi’s Handmade ice cream is coming to Clarksburg Premium Outlets, taking over the location that was recently home to Melt Cafe and Gelato Bar next to Starbucks. This will be Mimi’s Handmade’s fifth location overall and third in Montgomery County with current locations in Rockville’s Federal Plaza and inside The Heights Food Hall in Chevy Chase. An opening date is not yet available for the Clarksburg Outlets location, but signage is now up in the windows of the store (photo below).
