1 dead, 1 injured in shooting in Marshall
MARSHALL, Texas (KSLA) - One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in east Texas Tuesday afternoon (July 16). The Marshall Police Department says it happened earlier in the day near Lafayette and E Grand Avenue. The victim who was injured is being treated at a local hospital, police say. The investigation is active.
New Boston shooting leaves one dead, one critically injured; suspect arrested
NEW BOSTON, Texas — A shooting in New Boston left one man dead and another critically injured, leading to the arrest of a 19-year-old suspect. On July 6, 2024, at approximately 5:42 p.m., New Boston Police Department officers responded to a shooting call in the 300 block of N. Linsey St. Upon arrival, officers found two victims: 19-year-old Nicholas Webster of Jefferson, Texas, who was transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition, and 19-year-old Princeton Washington of Linden, Texas, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
