JENNERSTOWN — The fireworks on the track were just as exciting as the post-race showcase on Fast Cars and Freedom Night, Saturday at Jennerstown Speedway .

Travis Shaffer finally found victory lane in the Somerset Trust Fast & Furious 4s 15-lap feature.

Shaffer, who had seven Top 5 finishes entering the race, held off Travis Schartiger for the victory.

With eight to go, caution waved for a spin by Allen Ohler. Shaffer maintained the lead over Schartiger on the restart.

Johnathan Haburcsak edged Bradley Marsh at the stripe for third.

Exciting racing ahead Despite postponement, plenty of exciting events ahead at Jennerstown Speedway

Donald Lybarger Jr. collected his first career victory at Jennerstown Speedway, winning the Integrity Coatings Chargers feature.

Lybarger Jr. gained the lead from Aaron Luteri midway through the 15-lap race. He stretched his lead down the stretch to best Luteri and Cash Shaulis.

John Fama led all 20 laps of the Stoystown Auto Wreckers Modified feature to capture his second win of the season.

Fama was never challenged during the race. Doug Glessner and Anthony Aiello finished second and third, respectively.

Aaron Van Fleet picked up his second straight One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stock win.

He took the lead from Jeff Giles seven laps into the 25-lap feature and checked out for a commanding victory.

The battle for second between Giles, Dan Campbell and Josh Dunmyer was intense. Giles was up to the challenge and fended off Campbell and Dunmyer.

It was another thriller in the Ron's Collision Center Street Stocks.

Rick Meehleib claimed his third win of the season. He had to hold off points leader and defending champ Brent Bickerstaff along with his son, Richard Meehleib Jr.

Meehleib gained the lead four laps in and put some distance between he and Bickerstaff.

However, Bickerstaff and Meehleib Jr. closed as the race progressed.

Bickerstaff went low on Meehleib with one to go but could not take the lead. Meehleib Jr. was nearly sideways twice during the final lap trying to claim second but it was to no avail.

Barry Awtey parked in victory lane for the second time this season in the Martella's Pharmacies Late Models.

Awtey started on the outside of Row 2 and quickly headed to the lead. It was no contest after Awtey found clean air.

Joe Maruca and Jarred Barclay dueled for second in a battle of talented drivers. Maruca had enough late to hold off Barclay for second.

The Crown Vic Northeast Series is quickly becoming must-see action. It was compelling action throughout the second feature of the season at Jennerstown.

With three to go, a caution flew. Jake Gracan restarted on the poll and outlasted Jennerstown Hall of Fame driver Mark Cottone, who won the inaugural race this year, and modified driver Doug Glessner for his first win at the speedway.

The seventh annual Motor Mountain Masters is slated for Thursday. NASCAR Cup Series driver Erik Jones and former NASCAR Truck Series champ Johnny Sauter headline a field full of talented drivers from across the country along with some Jennerstown fan favorites.

The One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stocks will also be in action on Thursday. Grandstands open at 4 p.m. Qualifying begins at 5:30 with open ceremonies set for 6:45 and racing to begin at 7 p.m.
