UNDERHILL, Vt. (WCAX/Gray News) - Police say an 18-year-old man found stuck under a car in a Vermont high school parking lot was working on his car when the jack collapsed. Vermont State Police were called to Mount Mansfield Union High School in Jericho about 4 p.m. Thursday for a report of a person who appeared to be stuck underneath a vehicle in the parking lot, WCAX reports.

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - An alleged fentanyl dealer already facing federal charges, was in state court Tuesday morning on other drug charges. Kajuan Woods, 35, pleaded not guilty to cocaine possession. Paperwork says that South Burlington Police in May saw Woods passed out in a car with a woman. A fugitive from New Jersey has reportedly been caught in South Burlington. The Chittenden County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested Jamir Fitzgerald, 22, of Jersey City. In a reply to several follow-up questions, investigators said they caught Fitzgerald at about 3:00 p.m. Friday at a business on Shelburne Road. St. Albans man who dragged officer evades arrest again
A fugitive from St. Albans who was already wanted in Colchester now has new charges in Orange County. Vermont State Police say Andrew Brace, 39, was spotted in the town of Washington shortly before 10:00 Sunday morning. He and another person were believed to be overdosing in a car on Tilton Road. As emergency medical personnel approached the car, Brace reportedly drove away, stopping at a home on Route 110. Troopers say he backed away across the lawn when police reached the home, striking the homeowner’s car in the process and nearly striking a police vehicle. Brace was last seen speeding north on Route 110 toward Barre.
