Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, boxer on probation, to attend 2024 Paris Olympic Games
Gervonta “Tank” Davis, a boxer who is on probation for a hit-and-run in Baltimore, will be allowed to attend the Paris 2024 Olympics, thanks to a judge’s ruling. Davis will be in Paris to support Team USA boxing in an advisory role. Davis pleaded guilty to four counts for a 2020 hit-and-run. He was sentenced to 90 days home detention.

Tucker will start her new role as the school's first woman and Black athletics director on August 15, the university announced.She previously served as deputy athletics director at the University of North Carolina Wilmington."I am beyond thrilled to embark on this incredible journey as the new athletics director at UMBC," Tucker said.
