Austin, TX On Saturday, August 24, the Austin Gamblers will make history by unveiling the world’s first-ever bull rider "bobble body" figurine, featuring the dynamic likeness of two-time PBR World Champion and bull riding legend José Vitor Leme. This groundbreaking collectible, set to debut during Gambler Days at the Moody Center, is not only the first bobble body inspired by a bull rider but also the first to be modeled after any athlete in the world.

More than 400 lucky fans will be able to secure this exclusive keepsake at the Gamblers booth, thanks to sponsor UB Bucking Bulls. The number of figurines being given away matches Leme’s remarkable career tally of 407 qualified PBR rides as of the giveaway date.

The "bobble body" is a unique twist on the classic bobblehead, designed to capture the intense and fluid upper-body movements required by bull riders to stay in sync with the unpredictable movements of the bull beneath them. Leme, the No. 1 overall pick in the inaugural 2022 PBR Teams Draft and a key figure in the Austin Gamblers’ success will be celebrated at the event for his extraordinary contributions to the sport.

    Leme's Legacy in PBR

José Vitor Leme’s career has been nothing short of spectacular. After an impressive debut in 2017 at the PBR World Finals, where he clinched the championship title by going a flawless 6-for-6, Leme continued to shatter records. In 2021, he broke the PBR’s all-time high-marked ride record twice, with his highest-scoring ride of 98.75 points on the bull Woopaa, which included the first-ever perfect 50 points awarded to a rider.

Leme’s accolades are numerous. He’s a two-time PBR World Champion (2020, 2021), a three-time Mason Lowe Award winner (2020-2022), and a two-time PBR Teams MVP (2022, 2023). 2023 he reached another milestone by surpassing $6 million in career earnings and becoming the second all-time leader in 90-point rides, behind only J.B. Mauney.
