    Sisneros snagged by Cubs in 2024 MLB Draft

    (WJHL) – ETSU first baseman Cam Sisneros is headed for the pros, after being selected No. 422 overall by the Chicago Cubs in the 14th Round of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday.

    Emory & Henry becomes full NCAA Division II member

    The Colorado native becomes the 55th MLB draft pick or signee in Buccaneer baseball history.

    The SoCon Player of the Year put together a staggering stat line for the Blue and Gold this past season. He hit .369 with an OPS of 1.259 on the campaign, slugging 86 RBI (single-season program record) and 23 home runs.

    “I am excited for Cam and his family,” ETSU Head Baseball Coach Joe Pennucci said in a statement. “He is a tremendous worker and a skilled young man. Cam has a bright future and it’s going to be fun to watch!”
