Glenville says federal protections on railroad companies hamstring its ability to sue. Another truck hit the Glenridge Road bridge in Glenville Tuesday. The crash happened around 3:11 p.m. Glenville Police said a 2019 Freightliner was heading east on Glenridge Road. The driver, 51-year-old Patrick Tescione, of Wallkill, told police he was watching the car in front of him and did not see the flashing warning signal.

A Schenectady man accused of assaulting the child of a witness who testified in his brother and father’s drug trafficking trial will remain in jail.
