    Johnstown man pleads guilty to meth, cocaine charges

    JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. ( NEWS10 )– A Johnstown man pleaded guilty in federal court on Monday to possessing and intending to sell methamphetamine and cocaine in January. Leon Ostrander, 50, admitted in court on Monday to having over 400 grams of methamphetamine and 1.2 kilograms of cocaine that police seized while searching Ostrander’s home.

    Court officials said police searched Ostrander’s home and arrested him on Jan. 14. Ostrander confessed he planned to sell the methamphetamine and cocaine when he pleaded guilty.

    Ostrander faces 10 years to life in prison, a fine of up to $10 million, and five years to life of probation. United States District Judge Anne Nardacci will sentence him on Oct. 25.
