18-year-old Halfmoon man arrested for allegedly driving intoxicated with suspended license
SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WRGB) — An 18-year-old Halfmoon man was arrested for an alleged motor vehicle operation in an intoxicated condition on Monday, July 22, 2024. Saratoga County sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop for passing a red light at the intersection of New York State Route 146 and Fire Rd. in Clifton Park Monday morning at 2:48 a.m., according to the sheriff's office.

Last person pleads guilty in major SEFCU bank fraud case
The last person in a major $113,800 bank fraud conspiracy against SEFCU has pleaded guilty. Evan Cutler, 25, of Queensbury admitted to applying for loans using stolen identities and taking out the loaned money in cash. He applied for the loans using fake New York driver licenses, said investigators, between February and October 2022.

County Board approves the return of Kinhaven School to original home in Ballston
Kinhaven School is set to return to its original home on Fairfax Drive following the Arlington County Board’s approval of a childcare center permit. Formerly housed within Central United Methodist Church in Ballston, Kinhaven moved in 2017 to St. George’s Episcopal Church at 915 N. Oakland Street in Ashton Heights after its original site was redeveloped into a 144-unit affordable housing complex. Renovations complete at Stony Brook State Park with $4.5 million project
STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The $4.5 million improvement project at Stony Brook State Park officially wrapped up on Monday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced. She also announced a new construction plan for an additional $6.4 million in improvements. The next project includes a new park office, new and resurfaced parking lots and updated tennis courts, scheduled to be done sometime in 2025.
