Three people stole from Amsterdam Walmart and then crashed into a parked car leaving the scene, investigators said. Police were called to the Walmart in the town of Amsterdam on Friday, July 19 for a hit-and-run crash, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Invasive spotted lanternfly detected in Finger Lakes vineyard
State agriculture officials have confirmed the presence of spotted lanternfly in the Finger Lakes region, a concerning development for local grape growers. The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets identified the invasive pest in Romulus, New York, following reports from Cornell’s New York State Integrated Pest Management Program (NYS IPM).
