    Man unlawfully residing in PA sentenced for narcotics trafficking, illegal firearm possession

    ( WJET/WFXP ) – A Saint Martin citizen who was unlawfully residing in Pennsylvania was sentenced on narcotics trafficking and illegal firearm possession charges.

    On Monday, July 8, Hector Concepcion, a 35-year-old Saint Martin man who was living illegally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to serve a five-year prison sentence followed by five years of supervised release.

    He was convicted of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, heroin and cocaine, as well as unlawful possession of a firearm by an illegal alien.

    According to information presented to the court, Concepcion possessed and conspired to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine and quantities of heroin and cocaine between August 2019 and April 2021.

    Concepcion, who was an illegal alien unlawfully residing in the United States, also possessed a firearm and ammunition.

    He was later intercepted after a federal wiretap obtained quantities of crack cocaine, heroin and cocaine that Concepcion distributed to others.

    United States Attorney Olshan commended a plethora of law enforcement agencies that led to Concepcion’s prosecution.
