Jonesboro man claims largest win in Natural State Jackpot history

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The largest win in Natural State Jackpot history has officially been claimed, according to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery .

A Jonesboro man, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed his $600,000 jackpot on July 15 in Little Rock from the July 10 drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Jordan’s Kwik Stop in Monette in Craighead County. The winning numbers were 15 , 16 , 24 , 32 and 34 .

The man said he was working in Monette when he bought the ticket. He checked the local news on Friday night before going to bed and saw the $600,000 ticket was sold at a convenience store he visited earlier in the day.

He checked his tickets and found he was the winner.

The man said he was shocked at first and woke his wife to tell her the news.

The couple said with their winnings they plan to pay off their house and other bills, invest in stocks and save money for their child.
