Jackson approves $4.5M contract to replace outdated pipes in city water system
JACKSON, MI - A project to improve the quality and flow of water underneath Jackson’s streets is ready to move forward. The Jackson City Council on Tuesday, July 16, approved a tentative construction contract of about $4,599,516. The contract will employ the Jackson-based Dunigan Brothers Inc. construction company to replace several miles of piping beneath Jackson’s streets as part of a water main replacement project organized through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program.

57 single-family condos approved near Ann Arbor in exchange for land donation
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - A housing development of 57 single-family condominiums has received the final approvals it needed from Ann Arbor Township to move forward. The township’s Board of Trustees voted Monday, July 15, to approve the development’s private wastewater system. It was the final requirement for sign-off on the project by the township, allowing developers Toll Brothers, Inc. to move forward.
