Man turns himself in after setting church vans on fire, deputies say
PAULINE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday they responded to an arson report at a church on July 4th at around 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival at 3119 Hwy 56 (Philadelphia Baptist Church), deputies saw two burning vans behind the church that were actively being put out by Glenn Springs Fire Department.

Vehicle stolen by man without license recovered in Spartanburg, police say
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg Police Department (SPD) said Saturday that they successfully recovered a stolen SUV on Friday night. According to the SPD, officers received a Flock hit--an alert that tells a law enforcement system if a car is marked as suspicious--for a silver Chevrolet Tahoe. Officer Colton Peacock said he observed the vehicle parked at the pumps of the Spinx on 215 S Pine St.
