You're invited to remember two of Joplins fallen officers

Captain William Davis sat down with Elyse this morning to invite you to a few events that the department will be hosting.

Beyond the Call of Duty is an organization that pays tribute to officers who have fallen in the line of duty. Beyond the Call of Duty will be in Joplin to honor fallen officers Corporal Ben Cooper and Officer Jake Reed on Monday, July 29 ^th at 4:30 pm. The event is open to the public.

Captain Davis also invites you to the Joplin Block Party on July 19 ^th at the Schifferdecker Aquatic Center from 4-6 pm. Come for a fun evening of free swimming and hotdogs as well as an up-close look at several police vehicles.
