    Joplin police warn residents regarding a rise in vandalized air conditioners

    Joplin, MO – Joplin police warn the public of a rise in air conditioner vandalism. Thieves are stealing the copper metal found in the units and selling them for money. The Joplin police department is urging the public to conceal their AC units or install an alarm system.

    Pittsburg, KS – K-Dot Southeast Kansas will host several public meetings concerning the future of u-s 69 in Crawford County. K-dot says the focus of the meetings will be on the intersection of u-s 69 and k-103 in Cherokee County. The meeting is a follow-up to a study conducted by the department.

    Springfield, MO – The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks says the need for blood of all types has reached critical levels. Eligible donors are encouraged to give immediately. To avoid wait times, appointments are strongly encouraged. To schedule an appointment, you can go to cbco.org.
