JOPLIN, MO – The Joplin Outlaws extended their winning streak to five games with a victory over Fort Smith 11-10.

CJ Cepicky and Drake Lee would each drive in two RBIs on the night. Starting with a 2-0 lead, Andre Jackson would score the game’s first run via a balk. Along with a 2-for-4 performance at the plate, Jackson would have a solid game for Joplin in scoring two runs and driving in one.

Joplin would take a commanding 9-3 lead into the fourth inning, but Fort Smith would claw its way back to make the game a two-run deficit in the seventh. Erik Heiken would shut the door for Joplin in the ninth, sealing the Outlaws 11-10 win and picking up his second save on the year.

Up next, Joplin will host Fort Smith on Thursday, July 25th at 7:05 p.m.
