MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ hosts quietly sold their Florida home and downsized to a nearby townhouse

MSNBC power couple Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski quietly sold their Jupiter, Florida home and downsized to a charming townhouse in the same neighborhood, according to property records reviewed by The Post.

They bought their former residence — a sprawling five-bedroom, three-bathroom property spanning over 3,400 square feet — in 2018 for $1.2 million, the same year they tied the knot. Located on a golf course, the property barely spent a day on the market before selling for $1.84 million in June 2023, according to records obtained by The Post.

Before the pandemic hit in 2020, Brzezinski and Scarborough already had a unique setup, with a remote studio in this home from which they broadcast. More recently, on Monday — following Saturday’s attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump — the pair yanked their flagship talk show off the air. The left-leaning network feared that one of its fiery anti-Trump guests might make a controversial comment.

After the 2023 home sale, the couple opted for a more modest three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhouse — where they often record their show — that’s just a two-minute stroll from their old digs, records also show. It’s unclear if this is just a temporary haven for the anchors. A rep for MSNBC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The two-story townhouse, situated in the desirable community of The Island at Abacoa, offers a little over 1,800 square feet of living space. It boasts a picturesque view of a vast green space and is conveniently located across from the community clubhouse, a pool and a playground.

Scarborough, who is officially a Florida resident to avoid state income tax, must stay in the Sunshine State for at least 183 days a year.

Joe and Mika, both ardent Joe Biden supporters, were expected to return to their anchor chairs on Tuesday, despite Saturday’s news and the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Monday night.

Instead of risking any on-air gaffes that could tarnish the show and the network, MSNBC rolled out breaking news coverage on Monday, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.
