    When new owners Matt Sternke, and Eric Cline took over the Sports Page Steakhouse in January of this year from long-time owner Jeff Broccard they did not want to change a thing, they most of the original staff is still there. The menu was tried and true to what local patrons had loved about The Sports Page since 2005. They did, however, make some great additions to the menu!

    On the appetizer menu, you can find loaded cheese fries or tots piled high with cheesy goodness, this is a bed of fried potatoes covered with cheddar cheese, white queso, bacon, and green onions served with a side of ranch. A must try is the new Fried Pickles made with the Sports Page famous pickle spears deep fried to perfection. They've added delicious sweet potato fries. These fries are crispy and slightly sweet, served with ranch dressing on request.

    Desserts are made in-house from scratch. There is always homemade cheesecake, some features include Salted Caramel, Pecan Praline, Lemon Blueberry Swirl, and White Chocolate Cappuccino ask your server for the special of the day. Regular features are traditional Creamy Coconut Cream pie, coconut cream piled high and topped with rich whipped cream. The Sports Page Carrot Cake is rumored to be the best carrot cake around. The special recipe Cinnamon Roll Bread pudding is rich and decadent, you have never had anything like it. And, the top-selling dessert is the Chocolate Éclair cake, this is a devil’s food cake with a vanilla cream layer and topped with whipped chocolate ganache.

    If it is steak, you are looking for this is the best place! The Sports Page is serving Creekstone Black Angus Ribeye’s, USDA choice steaks that are aged a minimum of 21 days. The burgers are 8 0z. of Angus patties cooked to order. There is something on the menu for everyone from Fried Shrimp, Chicken Fried Steak, pan seared Ahi Tuna, Asian Glazed Salmon, Grilled chicken, and for the smaller appetites there are some great kid’s meals.

    If you are searching for a great place for Catfish don’t miss out on Tuesday’s all-you-can-eat with hush puppies and two sides for just $16.00. For those that don’t want to do the all-you-can-eat there is a dinner portion with one side and hush puppies for $12.00.

    Make the short drive to Coweta, OK, and check this restaurant out hours are Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Located at 13747 S. Highway 51. If you need a place to rent for groups there is a private room, call 918-279-0014 for more information and to make reservations.
