Cherries with is vibrant and tangy taste provides a delectable contrast to the richness of the chocolate. The addition of the cherry pie filling distinguishes Black Forest Cookies from chocolate cookies and pays homage to the cake that inspired them.

    1 box of devil’s food cake mix.

    ¼ cup vegetable oil

    2 eggs

    I can cherry pie filling

    1 cup powder sugar

    Water

    Mixing bowl

    Wooden spoon

    Cookie sheet

    1. Pour cake mix into mixing bowl, add oil and eggs stir until mixed well.

    2. Drop a spoonful onto cookie sheet push the spoon in the middle of the cookie to make a small well.

    3. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes.

    4. Let cool and spoon pie filling in the middle.

    5. Mix the powder sugar with a little water and drizzle over the top. Keep refrigerated.
