"I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form," Jack Black wrote Tuesday , announcing a much-awaited Tenacious D tour has been canceled.

It comes after bandmate, Kyle Gass, celebrated his birthday on stage, commenting his support for the attempt to assassinate Donald Trump.

"I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form," Black, who has spoken in support of Biden's bid for reelection , continued.

"The line I improvised onstage Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake," the musician wrote following Black's announcement.

Tenacious D was slated to be at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo on Oct. 25 and some proceeds were to be donated to Rock the Vote, a non-partisan effort to encourage young voters to make their voices heard through the electoral process.

"I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding," Black wrote.

FOX 17 has reached out to Wings Event Center for information on refunds and will update this article as soon as we can.
