BORGER, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Officials with TCW Supply in Borger announced on Monday morning that multiple communities in its service area will be under a “boil water” notice for drinking water after power has been restored to its wells.

According to TCW Supply, the water utility in Borger and the surrounding area has been without power since Sunday, and its water wells have also been out of operation as a result.

“When the power is restored and water is also restored the areas affected will be under a boil drinking water notice,” said TCW Supply, “Notice will be sent out when the water sampling has shown the water meets the state requirements.”

Communities impacted by the boil notice include:

    • Scott’s Acres
    • Beverly Hill
    • Phillips Golve Course Addition
    • City of Sanford
    • Sanford Camp area
