    Amarillo women indicted in Federal Court on drug charges

    AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – An Amarillo woman was indicted in Amarillo Federal Court on multiple counts related to distributing and possessing drugs.

    According to court documents filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division, Yessenia Yvette Jaquez was indicted on three counts of drug related charges including:

    • “Conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute fentanyl”
    • “Possession intent to distribute fentanyl”
    • “Possession with intent to distribute cocaine”

    Court documents allege that Jaquez was in possession of alleged fentanyl and cocaine on July 1 and on an unknown date leading with the intent to distribute.
