CLOVIS, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) — The Clovis Police Department announced that as part of its “ENDWI” campaign, it will conduct sobriety checkpoints and DWI saturation patrols on Sept. 6 and Sept. 20. Officers will be specifically on the lookout for alcohol and drug-impaired drivers.

CPD asked drivers to make plans ahead of time and assign a designated driver. The campaign was created by the New Mexico Department of Transportation to reduce the number of impaired driving-related crashes and fatalities on the roads.
