Will Chiefs Star Kelce Appear at the Grammys to Support Swift?

It was the picture that went wild across the internet after the AFC Championship game.  Most would assume it was the team owner or quarterback holding up the trophy, but it was, in fact, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sharing a kiss to celebrate the win.

What fans have termed as "Swelce" is the relationship that seems to be flourishing between Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, and singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift.  People just can't get enough of it, or they have had enough of it -- there seems to be polarized ends of the fan base.  Regardless, people have been asking if Kelce will appear with Swift at the Grammys.

While the answer is obvious to football fans, it might not be quite so evident to those who don't follow the sport.  Given that the Kansas City Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl, Kelce will be at practice on Sunday, February 4 in preparation for the Super Bowl to be held in Las Vegas, Nev. on the following Sunday, February 11.

Kelce appeared on the Pat McAfee Show where he discussed his team and also confirmed that he will not be at the Grammys. His famous girlfriend is nominated for six awards, but will have to fill her plus one space with someone other than her favorite guy of late.

"I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys, and watch her win every single award that she's nominated for. We're just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it," Kelce said. "I love it when Taylor does and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends.  It's been nothing but a wonderful year."

Swift began writing songs professionally at age 14.  She signed with Big Machine Records two years later, in 2005, after catching the attention of Scott Borchetta.  Swift's career took off almost immediately when she had a Top 40 hit with Tim McGraw.  Her career has blossomed where she has crossed over into pop, country, folk, rock, and even alternative.

In 2024, Swift is nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Kelce made it clear, or tried to, that he is focused on football and he has a job to do.  He will be focused on his job come Sunday, February 4 instead of being at the side of his new girl, Taylor.

On the other hand, there is quite a bit of speculation that Swift will be seen at the Super Bowl despite having a performance in Japan just the day before.  The time zones work in her favor and could allow her just enough time to jet to Las Vegas, freshen up, and cheer for her man.
