Travis Kelce Lifts Lid on Justin Tucker Incident

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 to advance to yet another Super Bowl, but for all the action during the game, perhaps the biggest piece of drama happened beforehand.

In a video that has been making the rounds on social media, Ravens kicker Justin Tucker can be seen stretching near where several Chiefs players, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce , were warming up.

With not much room between the two, Kelce was then seen picking up Tucker's helmet and two footballs that were placed next to it and throwing them away.

Kelce spoke about the incident on his podcast New Heights with brother Jason and stated that it is normal for other specialists to warm up near the opposing team, but they had to keep their distance. Tucker was clearly too close and that is what led to Kelce moving the helmet and two footballs.

“It was fun knowing that we won the game and Tucker had to chew everything that he was doing and swallow that," Kelce said of the incident on The Pat McAfee Show . "I moved his stuff as politely as I could. I could have thrown his helmet about 50 yards into the stands if I really wanted to make a point. I knew it was friendly banter at that point and he was just trying to be a d**k about it."

Now, the attention that the incident got has been huge and while Kelce did state that Tucker did it all in fun, it was clear that some people didn't see it that way.

But now we know that it wasn't as serious as some believed it to be, but it certainly did add another layer to a game that was already on a knife's edge.

The Chiefs will be playing in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years and it was clear that Tucker's antics pre-game gave Kansas City more ammunition to play well.

A quick PSA for the San Francisco 49ers ahead of their Super Bowl matchup, don't let Jake Moody warm up near Mahomes or Kelce. It won't end well.
