The Kansas City Chiefs are on one of the more impressive runs in NFL history, and now they’ve entered dynasty status.

With their remarkable comeback win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, the Chiefs have now claimed three of the last five championships. They’re also the first team since the 2003-2004 Patriots to win back-to-back titles. This also comes amid a run in which the Chiefs have been to six straight AFC Championship, winning four of them.

No one has had a stretch like Patrick Mahomes has to begin his career. The duo of Mahomes and Andy Reid has quickly become one of the most dominant combos we’ve seen, and Bob Fescoe said Monday on Fescoe in the Morning that they indisputably are a dynasty.

“This is now the dynasty, the dynasty is officially here. And if anybody wants to say this isn’t a dynasty, and they want to keep moving the line, they can kiss my ass,” Fescoe said. “Because now this is three titles in five years, and the first team to go back-to-back and win back-to-back championships in 19 years. This is now officially a dynasty. It’s one of the great dynasties in sports history, and I think we’re just at the beginning of this thing.”

Time will tell if the Chiefs will see the same sustained success that the Patriots did. That notwithstanding, it simply cannot be argued that Kansas City is in the midst of a legendary run.
