The Kansas City Chiefs are officially a dynasty as they have now won three Super Bowls in five years. A big reason has been the play of Patrick Mahomes , and another is that he has who some regard as the best tight end ever to play the game - Travis Kelce.

The tight end, who is now more famously known for dating musician Taylor Swift, has been a constant beacon of production in the postseason, especially when it comes to the Super Bowl.

While Kelce had a "down" year in the regular season as he had his lowest receiving yards total since 2015 and his lowest touchdown total since 2019, he once again flourished when the bright lights of the Super Bowl came on.

Kelce would haul in nine catches for 93 yards as he played a significant role in the Chiefs beating the San Francisco 49ers with a dominant second half.

Players are often judged by what they do in the playoffs and Super Bowls and for Kelce, after his exploits this year that saw him claim his third ring, he moved to equal second all-time for receptions in a Super Bowl as he is now just two catches away from matching the legendary Jerry Rice.

To further consolidate his standing as one of the best ever, Kelce is also fourth all-time in yards (350).

With the Chiefs aiming for a three-peat, Kelce has every chance to break Rice's record for receptions as Mahomes and Co. will be hellbent on doing something no team has ever done before.

Kelce is a surefire Hall of Famer, and if he can make it to another Super Bowl, and play well, it will only further enhance his stature as one of the greatest tight ends to ever play.
