Travis Kelce Unveils the Real Reason He Started to 'Really Fall' for Taylor Swift

Even from the outside looking in, it's easy to see how "down to Earth" Taylor Swift has remained throughout her meteoric career path.

In fact, it's one of the qualities about her that quickly left Travis Kelce smitten, as he detailed while chatting with Bussin' With the Boys' Will Compton and Taylor Lewan on the most recent episode of their podcast .

The hosts pointed to the moments following Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs' second consecutive Super Bowl win earlier this year, where Swift joined his family on the field to celebrate but initially remained "off to the side knowing it's [Kelce's] moment."

They continued, "...it's like small things that happen where you're sitting there watching it unfold and you're like, yo, she does seem like a real one."

The tight end agreed that the megastar is "very self-aware," and it was her "understand[ing of] situations like that" that really played into his developing feelings.

"I really started to, like, really fall for her [because of] how genuine she is, just, like, around friends, family," he shared candidly. "It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill and so cool..."

Kelce's not so bad at that himself, proudly sharing bits and pieces about his relationship with the "Karma" songstress while still maintaining a respectable—and respectful—level of privacy, like when he told one curious reporter he was going to "keep that one to [himself]" when asked about time spent in the kitchen together, though later threw her a bone by revealing some of his favorite treats made by Swift.

And while most of the details will likely always remain under lock and key, his face when he's watching her says it all .
