Being the quarterback in the NFL for a dynasty like the Kansas City Chiefs does have a ton of perks. But, it also has a lot of downsides, too. Everyone is watching you, at all times, and everyone is waiting for you to mess up. Some are even trying to get you to mess up by baiting you with certain questions. And, the minute you do mess up, everyone knows about it.

So, sure, Patrick Mahomes has some pros and cons to his life, like the fact that he may never have to pay for BBQ in Kansas City ever again. But, then again, the media always wants to know Mahomes' thoughts on controversial topics. he's an interesting person, with the most interesting job in the world.

So, talking with the media can be a little deflating at times. They try and bait you, you get asked things you do not want to answer, and sometimes there is no win-win situation. That's one of the few problems the franchise quarterback and face of the league has to deal with.

But for Mahomes, he has already mastered the one skill you need off of the field when it comes to getting asked questions in the press that he may not necessarily like.

"Even the most annoying questions, you know, you always handle it very professionally, but, do you ever go back to the locker room and start punching a wall? I feel like it would drive me nuts," actor and Chiefs fan Rob Riggle asked Mahomes on his podcast.

"It does, but it's part of it, it's part of the profession, part of being a quarterback, and having to stand on that podium and talk win or loss," Mahomes said. "I think what I have done and mastered is being able to say a lot of words without saying anything at all. And, so, that's my go-to, whenever I get a question I don't like, I'll just say a lot of different words, but it really means nothing."

Riggle and his co-host then asked Mahomes a press-like question to test Mahomes, and he answered it exactly the way he said he had mastered - so much so that Riggle said that it was a masterclass.

And, Mahomes really has mastered that. Remember last season when his receivers were so bad, and it seemed like every single game someone was trying to bait him into saying that, too? Instead, he would say that he had to be better , even though he was playing almost perfectly. Or, he would just say a bunch of words that didn't mean anything. And when he lost to the Las Vegas Raiders last year, he still kept it classy.

Mahomes is the definition of the quarterback in the league and handles all of the off-the-field stuff and press and media the exact way you want your QB to handle it.
