KC Venezuelan community to celebrate this weekend with Venezuelan Fest

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City’s Lemonade Park will be hosting the vibrant Venezuelan community in Kansas City’s Venezuelan Festival on Saturday, July 6. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Venezuelan Festival will feature cultural festivities, music, Venezuelan cuisine and more. One of the highlights of the evening will be a performance by Son Venezuela . The group is the first Latin band to be inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame . This is a milestone that represents the cultural contributions to both the Venezuelan community as well as the local music scene.

Aside from live music, there will be a wide selection of food vendors cooking up traditional Venezuelan dishes and a variety of local businesses selling unique products. The festival is a great opportunity for the community to celebrate heritage and enjoy a taste of Venezuelan culture.
