Taylor Swift Fans Think Travis Kelce Borrowed Eras Tour Choreography for Karaoke Contest in Side-by-Side Videos

Fans who closely assessed Travis Kelce’s moves during a recent karaoke competition believe he may have copied some of the choreography from his girlfriend’s hit international Eras Tour .

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has attended several of Taylor Swift’s shows this summer during the NFL offseason. He even made his onstage debut during one of her concerts at Wembley Stadium in London last month.

In the hours that Kelce, 34, has spent in the Eras Tour VIP tent, Swifties believe that he has been paying close attention to the pop star’s choreography. Their latest piece of evidence is a video of the NFL star performing onstage during a recent karaoke competition. Kelce, who traveled to Nevada earlier this week to participate in this year’s American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Lake Tahoe, brought his singing chops to the stage on Thursday, July 11, before the tournament began.

As seen in a video that his New Heights podcast shared with fans on social media, Kelce chose Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” when he was called up to perform his best karaoke number. The star tight end wound up winning an award for his performance, which he quickly dedicated to his significant other .

In the days that followed, fans began scrutinizing his moves onstage, comparing some of his gestures to those that Swift brings to her Eras Tour performances.

“Please there’s no way he WASN’T doing the My Tears Ricochet choreo right?? 🤣,” TikTok user @mytayloracct asked while sharing side-by-side clips of Kelce’s karaoke performance and Swift's dance moves during the Folklore portion of her shows. The TikToker later shared another side-by-side video as they wondered if Kelce’s moves were perhaps instead influenced by Swift’s when she performs “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” one of the new tracks featured on her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department .

Regardless of the specific era, fans were thrilled to see Kelce seemingly duplicate his girlfriend’s Eras Tour choreography.

“It’s like he’s been taking notes and training for this moment,” one TikTok user wrote as another said, “he's too good. I hope she's cracking up!!!”
