Travis Kelce tells fan ‘you ain’t lying’ in response to Taylor Swift dig after Chiefs star messes up shot at golf event

KANSAS City Chiefs star Travis Kelce had the perfect response to a fan who made a Taylor Swift joke after a bad swing at the 2024 American Century Championship golf tournament.

Kelce, 34, is an avid golfer and has participated in the American Century Championship (ACC) for several years.
But the nine-time Pro Bowler showed that football remains his primary sport after a bad first tee shot on Saturday.
As the ball went not the way he intended, a spectator took a swipe at the Chiefs tight end.
“That’s alright, you still got Taylor,” the fan said, as caught by NBC Sports .
Travis took the joke well.
“You ain’t lying,” he replied while pointing at the crowd.
The three-time Super Bowl champion then waived to the spectators gathered around.
Swift , 34, came up also in Kelce’s interview with NBC .
The Chiefs star was asked whether he planned on making another on-stage cameo during the pop sensation’s Eras Tour.
“I can’t let anything out of the bag,” he responded.
“But right now I’m in full football mode after golf.”
Travis said he’s been thoroughly enjoying the past 12 months, which saw him start his relationship with Swift and add another championship ring to this collection.
“It’s been the funniest year of my life, I can definitely say that,” he said.
“I said that after the [2023] Super Bowl when I played my brother – meeting my brother at the mountaintop was the peak of my life.
