    Kansas City Monarchs cancel Tuesday night game for severe storms

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Monarchs announced that it canceled its game against the Lincoln Saltdogs after severe thunderstorms hit parts of the metro Tuesday morning.

    The franchise said the game will be made up Wednesday as part of a single-admission doubleheader. This first game is scheduled for 4 p.m. and both will play seven innings.

    Fans with tickets to any postponed Monarchs game can exchange their tickets at the Monarchs box office for any future regular season home game ticket of equal or lesser value.
