The navy and white hat is usually worn by members of the Public Order Unit of Ireland's police force, An Garda Síochána, when they don't have their helmets on. Official ones aren't normally available to buy, so many are speculating that the cap was gifted.
Kelce is obviously a fan, wearing the item on a recent night out with his girlfriend Taylor Swift and some NFL pals.
The picture posted by Hogue was taken in Amsterdam and features Kelce with his arm wrapped around Swift. His teammate Patrick Mahomes is also in the snap, as are Mahomes' wife Brittany and Summitt and Miranda Hogue.
Eagle eyes fans were quick to spot the Garda cap and the image has already been circulated online. So much so that even the Gardaí have spotted it.
The official Garda Info page on X reposted the image with the caption: “Nice hat, Chief!"

They even said that they planned to give him another one if returns to Ireland.
They said: " When you’re back to see us all in Ireland Travis Kelce, we’ll be sure to present you with one of the 30,000 newly designed hats which will be worn by every member of An Garda Siochana by the end of the year.”
However, the post has since been deleted and a Garda spokesman said it was shared "in error".
