An Amber Alert was canceled for a two-year-old who had been abducted in Kansas City, Kansas, on Wednesday.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said Jaxon Halley and his mother were forcibly taken at gunpoint by a suspect about 1:30 p.m.

Jaxon and his mother were taken into Missouri where she was left at Loose Park at 5200 Wornall Road.

The suspect, identified as Darryl Livingston Jr., kept the boy.

Jaxon was later found safe in Kansas City, Missouri, after Livingston dropped off the child at his grandmother's house.

The KBI said Livingston allegedly told Jaxon's mother that he would kill her and the child.

Livingston was later taken into custody.

Livingston had been seen driving a silver 2016 Kia Forte with temporary tags 018JA6.
